Real Life Vampires – Fact or Fiction?

9 September 2009 519 views No Comment

When you think about vampires, what do you imagine? Maybe you think about a count Dracula type person, with a balding head, red velvet cape, and a strong Eastern European accent. Or maybe you imagine half human – half bat like creatures living in caves, and only coming out at night to feed on the blood of the innocent. The truth is, there really is no right or wrong way to picture them, as the myth surrounding vampires differ greatly from place to place.

However you imagine a vampire to look or sound, the real question on everyone’s mind is “are vampires real, and do they exist and live around us?”. Well the exact answer to that is unknown, however there are plenty of people around that believe they have encountered a vampire, or even believe they are one themselves.

All it takes is a little search online, to find plenty of videos of supposedly real life vampires, and stories of people who have come across them. But in reality these videos can easily be faked, and the stories made up. After all, it only really takes a little imagination to think up the next Count Dracula or Lost Boys.

If you are a non believer in vampires, then it can be pretty easy to brush off all these true life stories, and videos of vampires. But it can be harder to dismiss the forums full of people online who claim to be a vampire themselves. The disturbing truth is, that there are people all around the world who claim to possess vampire like qualities, such as the desire for blood, and sensitivity to daylight.

It remains a mystery how these people became vampires in the first place, or whether they are even real life vampires at all. It really is down to you, do you believe these people are real vampires, or are they just plain crazy?
